I love that Redmond Ridge has another restaurant and have been here many times. My husband is in love with the gringa tacos. I wish they stayed open later & on weekends & had fountain drinks.
Stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for another restaurant that is no longer in the strip mall complex. So a friend and I decided to give this place a try. Got the two birria taco plate. It comes with a cup of delicious consommé, a lime, and a little cup of onions and cilantro. The tacos come with a double layer of tortillas. The cheese is sandwiched between the tortillas and the center tortilla is filled with amazing birria meat, which I loaded with more onions and cilantro. Dipping each bit into the consommé made this a spiritual experience. Each bite had a crispy crunch, and the forementioned cheese pull. The savory consommé enhanced the birria meat flavor. I could have shamelessly drank the remainder of the consommé as a soup cause it was so good.
The food was delicious. They also do offer table service. I accidentally poured 2 tbsp of the hottest sauce in my taco and they gave me a new one for free. The service is great and the street tacos and quesadillas are amazing.
Food tasted great! Nice to have some place on the ridge that really tastes awesome- it's worthy of a visit even if you don't live on the ridge.
I was surprised they have a new location here!! We've been here a couple of times now. We love their tongue tacos. They are so soft! It can get hard to find tasty ones. Head is also very very soft. Yummy both. Pastor wasn't my favourite this time but previous time was good too ;) Mulitas were nice twist and more if you like cheese. I like regular soft tacos. We'll served with two tortillas. The gringa was very good! Bigger than the other tacos. I loved they have bottled sangría. This time it wasn't the lady at the front. Last time, she switched our soft tacos for mulitas (she also changed us for them...). Again, I like soft tacos over those. Anyway, I had them. This time service was better and faster! All Staff members are very friendly, courteous, and fast at cooking. There were two more tables and I was surprise about how fast they were sitting and having their meal. So if you want to order a second round, it won't be a problem ;) Ambiance was uplifting. They had some music by the kitchen but with too many people, they put a second -and different- music besides the first one :D
I've heard of Los Chilangos since moving to Washington but never had the chance to try it. They finally have a restaurant location in Redmond Ridge so yay! We stopped in for dinner and I ordered the Fat Boy Breakfast burrito with carne asada and my better half ordered the taco plate with chupa Cabra meat (chorizo/carne asada). The food was made to order and was delicious. Both salsas that came with them were also good. The restaurant is small but clean and roomy. The staff is so nice and wants to make sure you are happy with your meal. Definitely pay them a visit. They serve breakfast too!
